Inexplicable
Starting with Judge Mangrum's PO denial, there is no legal or ethical explanation for any of her actions. Even more unfathomable is the 3rd Court of Appeal's support of this legally impossible ruling.
Injustice
With no accuser, no act, no victim, and no evidence, the court has orphaned a perfect child, annihilated a family, and smeared a model father and primary caregiver cleared of any and all wrongdoing by the police and CPS .
The single word most often repeated by any and everyone familiar with a case that not only is there is no lawful basis for, but literally abets numerous felonies and obstructs criminal prosecution.
Insanity
Terrifying, Tragic & Abhorrent

Terrifying
Anyone in Travis County can be deprived of everything to the point of giving their child to abusers, on the sadistic whim of a judge --- with complete approval of the Appellate Court.
Tragic
Cleared by the agencies that - despite being obviously false -- investigated and cleared HBF. Harlan's been orphaned. Heidi, while a perpetrator, was also a victim whose life was needlessly extinguished.
What MAY have started as an extreme case of bias against fathers has snowballed and escalated to what is now shown to be INTENTIONAL destruction of a family and abuse of an innocent child.
Abhorrent
After 2.5 years of proving innocence of some undisclosed act, with no accuser, no "victim", and no explanation, based on the intervention of a long-estranged abuser with no standing in our lives. Since her truthful 3/3/22 testimony to Judge Mangrum that she had no knowledge of abuse, the allegations in her sworn statements and testimony have been proven -- to the word -- 100% false - leaving the following unchallenged "harms" as the basis to keep Harlan captive and continue the Court's lawfare and abuse.
Deborah's speculative harm is that HBF might allow Harlan in a car without a car seat, based on a cab ride the family took 6 years earlier. [Note: Harlan turned 8 -- obviating the need for a car seat - 6 months post-abduction (and recently turned 10)].
HBF might take Harlan to Mexico.
HBF might not let Harlan speak to Deborah. Undeniably true, and exactly what Heidi decided and wanted --
Deborah hadn't seen or spoken to Harlan in 5 years** HBF/Heidi/Harlan saw Deborah briefly at Heidi's father's November 2019 funeral).
Evidence presented included the multiple instances of weaponizing the fallacious protective orders, which the court condoned; prior abuse to Heidi by her family showing clear risk to Harlan of physical and sexual abuse, the ex-DC Chief ME's assessment that Harlan was at risk and Heidi's death merited further investigation; extended periods of no communication at all with Harlan due to Deborah's weaponization; testimony from a visit supervisor about Deborah's aggressive alienation.

Theory of Harm Just Upheld by the 3CoA
Harlan and her dad deserve freedom and justice; this story must be heard and acknowledged by anyone with or without children who values truth, freedom and justice - it's a warning shot of the terrifying danger and despotism of unchecked judicial discretion that can deprive ANYONE of EVERYTHING they hold dear.
Concerned Citizen
We must unite to end the unconscionable and bewildering suffering Harlan and her father are being subjected to. It goes way beyond unjust -- it's barbaric.
